These are my latest recipes When the asparagus season arrives in my kitchen and on the table it's a big party. And of recipes to prepare them I have already presented some (You can be found here), the most usual ones. This asparagus ragout is a version a bit 'more unusual on my table but very delicate and, I would say, refined!

Apricot season:
today we go to jam!
When finally the market stalls and supermarket counters are filled with boxes of apricot Valais (very good, believe me), it's time to take a little 'home.
After that I just have to use them, in any way.
Penne pasta with arrabbiata sauce, on the fly!
As he writes Vincenzo Buonassisi: "The main difference from bucatini matriciana (sic!) is that in this recipe the tomato is abundant and can better balance the strongest taste of the bacon ..."
I would also add the presence of garlic in good quantities (and maybe onion...).
Without neglecting the fact that the amatriciana sauce uses bacon; not the smoked bacon...
Quark cakes, both prepared and hot (like the cheesecake) that cold, are one of the classics of the cuisine of the Alps.
Like this delicious cake, typical of the Dolomites.
And don't be afraid to hear about quarks (what's this? where can I find it?):
you can easily replace it with ricotta - possibly mixed with yogurt - flavored with lemon juice!
On August: Today we celebrate!
Like every year, the first of August, my birthday, here in the Confederation is a National Day:
big parties everywhere and fireworks.
The best opportunity to celebrate both anniversaries together with friends!
If you own ice cream must be ... that ice cream is!
But a different ice cream, however, home-made and easy to prepare; no ice cream or continuously disturbing.
A very simple idea for when there are so many children for a snack.
And, especially, an ice cream without surprises.
