Apricot season:
pancakes with jam
With the season of apricots from my kitchen runs every type of candy and cake.
It also apricot jam which already I hinted a few days ago.
Now the logical question is what to do with all these jars, as well as prepare yourself tarts and spread it on the bread?
Serve spoonfuls on some nice pancakes!

This is just the presentation of some photos of the preparation of a beautiful cake in which the flavor of apricots is combined with that of quark and toasted almonds.

When finally the market stalls and supermarket counters are filled with boxes of apricot Valais (very good, believe me), it's time to take a little 'home.
After that I just have to use them, in any way.
On August: Today we celebrate!
Like every year, the first of August, my birthday, here in the Confederation is a National Day:
big parties everywhere and fireworks.
The best opportunity to celebrate both anniversaries together with friends!
I fusilli with zucchini poverella they are one of my favorite pasta dishes.
So much so, when I prepare them, make lots of them, with lots of zucchini!
Clearly, getting them all out is not easy and so, after dinner, I dress them with a little more oil and put them in the fridge for the day to come.
And with some small additions, always from what is ready in the pantry, go ahead with another salad with leftovers!
