My calzoncelli for dinner tonight!
These calzoncelli (or turnovers, if you prefer) is one of the recipes that I prepare often, both in version only dish that as a finger food (tiny!).
Yesterday, in preparing them for dinner and checking where the procedure was on the site, I realized that the recipe was not there!
I remedied this: here she is!
Couscous, vegetables and warm summer evenings
With the hot season the desire to experiment with new recipes or describe habitual still unpublished drops a little bit.
More than anything else for the traffic to get there, with the utmost attention, to photograph and verify every little detail while cooking with the utmost attention.
But the desire (and the need) to cook is certainly not lacking and we move on to putting simple and tested recipes on the table:
as this couscous vegetarian version!
Recovering… a gyrospita is improvised!

Sometimes I happen to generously abound with the quantities of meat I put on the grill;
and something, of course, advances ...
But everything can be recovered and reused:
with already cooked meat you can make a salad, a cold appetizer or, as in this case and with a skilled knife work, a tasty imitation of the Greek pita gyros!
More than two weeks have now passed since returning from holidays in Crete and I still dream of being there ...
but I'll be back soon!
In the meantime, I console myself by putting on the table something that brings me back, with flavors and colors, to those splendid places and to the friendliness and friendship of those who live there.
Orecchiette with Catalonia,
today on the table!
The other day, at the ethnic supermarket in the center,
the one with all the fresh or preserved specialties that come mainly from countries bordering the Mediterranean, I found some beautiful catalonia.
I jumped at the chance to prepare with orecchiette and put on the table the same evening!
