Advances autumn: sliced beef with mushrooms
To be precise I should write:
Beef entrecôte with rosemary and cardoncelli flavored with porcini mushrooms;
but perhaps it is a bit too pretentious for a dish that, although excellent, is of a disarming simplicity!
After all, it is very rare that something really complicated passes through my kitchen.

As I have written several times, I do not think there is any shame in reusing the leftovers of a good lunch.
Indeed, abundant cooking is often done right from the start, providing for a possible use of what remains
(are the times that everything is brushed off the table ...).
In this case, from what was left of a nice barbecue I made a home version of the Greek pita gyros.

And even in my kitchen suits us, perhaps putting on the table a nice dish of boiled tongue served with a good green sauce!

Presenting long ago the recipe of my pasta and chickpeas quickly, I mentioned the unforgettable pasta and chickpeas that a neighbor of mine used to prepare half a century ago.
A son of this lady - Mrs. Annina, to be precise - in the passing that my memory has run bothered, in consultation with the sisters, let me have the original recipe.
