The Christmas turkey:
2 reuse of leftovers, the Club Sandwich
As we get busy at Christmas dinner, to try everything that goes on the table, something in the end it is not consumed all the way!
And often just the turkey that after abundant starters and tortelloni and tortellini of all kinds and served in every way, he begins to find little space to sit.
But it is not a problem: as always there are ingenious solutions for reuse at best even these leftovers!
If the most classic preparation are the ravioli, prepared with the leftovers of the filling and the mince cut-outs of the meat ...
... If there remains even a chest piece to do in slices we can propose a tasty club sandwich!
Or to want to be more precise, a Clubhouse Sandwich.
In addition to slices of turkey breast, we will need:

The quantities are variable, depends on the amount of meat available and personal taste!
Brown the bacon in a frying pan to let it dry (and the fat in the pan).
Eliminate the outer crust of the bread and fry in the bacon fat (if necessary adding a little butter) on both sides.
Spread mayonnaise a first slice.
Cover it with salad, meat, tomato slices and bacon.
Close with another slice, spread with mayonnaise ...
... and repeat the previous layers.
Close with another slice of bread and, holding it firmly and pressed, cut it diagonally to obtain two triangular sandwiches.
Fasten with a small stick and serve in a plate with a decoration of cherry tomatoes and if desired, of pickled gherkins and onions.
Do not forget your knife and fork!
ADVICES AND NOTES:
- Although at first sight seem just a sandwich, believe me, if filled to perfection it is a complete meal!
- Hard to say whether it should be entered in seconds or in snacks, when in doubt it is in both categories.
